水面上 有 别的 船， 这些 船 在打 潜水艇。 尼摩 船长 说：“我们要 离开 上面！” 阿 教授 在 潜水艇 里， 助手 和 捕鱼人 也在。 潜水艇 一直 往下 开，开 得 很 深。
水下 非常 黑。 他们 看到 了大 眼睛。 那是一只 可怕 的大 海怪！ 大 海怪 抓住 潜水艇。 尼摩 船长 说：“我们要打 海怪！” 潜水艇 游出 水面。
外面 有风和雨， 非常 可怕。 尼摩 船长 走出去 打 海怪， 但是 海怪 抓住 了他。 风雨 太大， 船长 不能 游泳。
捕鱼人 跑了 出来。 他很会 游泳， 想 帮助 船长。 他 用力 打 那只 大 海怪。 大 海怪 觉得 非常 痛， 放开 了 船长， 回到 水下。
尼摩 船长 没有 死， 他跟 捕鱼人 说谢谢。他 觉得 捕鱼人 非常 好。 船长 以前 不 喜欢 外面 的人， 但是 捕鱼人 帮助 了他。这让他想做 不一样 的人。
尼摩 船长 看着 阿 教授 说：“我想做 好事。 我要 告诉 大家 我的 秘密。”
