Chapter 3 · 蘋果桶裡的秘密
晚上的船很黑。
吉姆 想吃一個蘋果。他走到一個大 蘋果桶 前。他發現裡面沒有蘋果了。他看見幾個 海盜 走過來。 吉姆 很快 躲進 蘋果桶 裡。他在 大桶 裡面坐著。他 不敢 大聲 呼吸。 這時候， 西爾弗 走過來了。 喬治 也跟著 西爾弗。
吉姆 在 桶 裡安靜地聽著。他聽見 西爾弗 大聲說話。 西爾弗 說：「我們要 叛變！」 喬治 笑著說：「對！」 喬治 說：「我們要 殺死 他們。」「我們也 必須 殺 史 船長。」 吉姆 覺得非常 害怕。 他聽見 海盜 計畫 這個 秘密。
這是一個 可怕 的 秘密。 因為 海盜 想要那張 藏寶圖。 所以 吉姆 等 海盜 離開 了。他 馬上 跑去找 李 醫生。他也跑去找 史 船長。 吉姆 告訴他們這件事。他告訴他們 海盜 要 叛變。 史 船長 覺得這很 危險。
第二天，船來到一個 島。 巨大 的 船錨 放下來 了。但是 叛變 提早 發生 了。 海盜們 開始 攻擊 大家。
史 船長 和 李 醫生跑下船。他們很快跑到 島上。 島上 有一個 舊 木堡。 他們 立刻 跑進 木堡 裡。他們覺得 木堡 比較 安全。 他們 用力 關上 木堡 的門。 木堡 裡面現在很 安全。
但是 吉姆 沒有 跟上 他們。 吉姆 一個人 留在 島上。 他看見 海盜 跑進 樹林。 吉姆 只能 躲在 樹林 裡。他覺得這裡非常 危險。
