Chapter 5 · 大海怪
水面上 有 別的 船， 這些 船 在打 潛水艇。 尼摩 船長 說：「我們要 離開 上面！」 阿 教授 在 潛水艇 裡， 助手 和 捕魚人 也在。 潛水艇 一直 往 下開，開得很 深。
水下 非常 黑。 他們看到了大 眼睛。 那是一隻 可怕 的大 海怪！ 大 海怪 抓住 潛水艇。 尼摩 船長 說：「我們要打 海怪！」 潛水艇 游 出 水面。
外面有 風 和雨， 非常 可怕。 尼摩 船長 走 出去 打 海怪， 但是 海怪 抓住 了他。 風雨 太大， 船長 不能 游泳。
捕魚人 跑了 出來。 他很會 游泳， 想 幫助 船長。 他 用力 打 那隻 大 海怪。 大 海怪 覺得 非常 痛， 放開 了 船長， 回到 水下。
尼摩 船長 沒有 死， 他跟 捕魚人 說謝謝。他覺得 捕魚人 非常 好。 船長 以前 不喜歡外面的人， 但是 捕魚人 幫助 了他。這讓他想做 不一樣 的人。
尼摩 船長 看著 阿 教授 說：「我想做 好事。 我要 告訴 大家 我的 秘密。」
